WATERCOLOUR CLASSES , WINTER 2010

WITH JOHNNENE MADDISON

All classes are at the Hillside Church 250 Commissioners Rd. W.

Beginning watercolours, 6 Tuesdays beginning January 12, 10am to 12:30

Students will learn the basics of landscape painting including colour mixing, paint consistency,

skies, trees, snow and the various watercolour techniques.

Advanced and intermediate watercolours, 6 Tuesdays beginning January 12, 1:00  to 3:30 pm.

This course will cover the use of drawing in watercolours. We will use pencil, pen and ink,

crayon resist, pencil crayons, sepia and brush drawing along with our watercolour paints. Students will bring their own photos from which to work. Subject matter will be announced before the first session.

The workshops with Mary Louise White, Francis Ferdinands, and Sharon Stewart were a great success and we would like to thank the teachers and all who attended for a great time. It is sincerely hoped that everyone had a lot of fun and learned new tactics in their pursuit of excellence.  Olga hopes to soon have news of future workshops to serve our customers.
